Neveen Youssef Hussein is a seasoned media professional, translator, and educator with extensive experience in news monitoring, translation, and journalism training. She currently works as a Monitoring Journalist with BBC’s Middle East Monitoring team and lectures on media and political translation at the American University in Cairo and the Police Academy Research Center. Neveen previously led the English News Department at Egypt’s Radio and Television Union (ERTU) and has contributed as editor and translator across leading media organizations.

Specializing in legal and UN translation, news editing, and localization, she has completed advanced professional courses in open-source intelligence, trauma risk management, and digital news tools.
